We coexist with bacteria throughout the environment and always have. Since the beginning of time. In fact, our very mitochondria that energize our body are bacteria in origin. Now that is something to ponder.  I’ll let you figure that one out and we can talk about the implications some time but today I am going to talk about 5 ways to improve digestive health with pre and probiotics and then tell you about my favorites ones. Let’s just start with our kids and compare their health to those around the world.

Japan has a 3% obesity rate and when it went up just a percent, they rallied to successfully reverse the trend. In the US –50% of our kids are overweight or obese and 33% have prediabetes. a metabolic disease- meaning they have high blood sugar, blood pressure, or cholesterol. And 77% of young adults aren’t eligible for the military because they are overweight.  Life expectancy in Europe is 6-7 years longer
